Golem Perpetrator (10-4) is a Closed Circuit Rebreather with top of the line, latest edition of the Hammerhead Electronics package from Juergensen Marine, including the Display Integrated Vibration Alarm™ (DIVA)

The Perpetrator (10-4) uses standard HammerHead electronics handsets and DIVA. The batteries are located and all processing is done in the handsets. The rebreather head contains only fully potted isolated splitter. It divides the signal from three sensors to the handsets and the DIVA. A flood or failure in one handset will not affect operation of the other handset or DIVA.

The unit has a radial scrubber with 5 lb capacity. EDL CzN operatives used both 4-8 and 8-12 Sofnolime, according to the mission requirements.

Three R-22D Oxygen Sensors are located above scrubber in the path of inhaled gas but away from condensation.

The exhaled gas enters the scrubber in the center and flows to the perimeter through the scrubber bed. All moisture is collected in the absorbent pad below the srubber.

The over the shoulder counterlungs are easily detached from shoulder straps and hoses for cleaning. The inhalation CL contains the automatic diluent valve (ADV) and the exhalation CL contains the O2 manual add valve and overpressure valve(OPV).

Each counterlung has a integrated weight pocket on the back side.

At the bottom of both countelungs is a water purge valve.

Counterlungs are attached through grommets on the harness on top and via Fastex buckles at waist.

The entire unit is mounted on a modified Armadillo sidemount harness to provide maximum redundancy for cave and deep diving. The gas in sidemounted cylinders is used only for bailout emergencies, or to hand off to a buddy in out -of-air situation. Quick connect fittings on sidemounted tanks provide additional gas source for the CCR in case of total gas loss from the on-board cylinders.

Integrated bungee cords keep bailout tanks in the slipstream and can be stowed out of the way behind divers back, when not in use. Standard D-rings are also available for additional stages or for smaller bailout tank when sidemounted cylinders are not used.

The unit was dive-tested for two years at undisclosed EDL CzN test locations. Further improvements and streamlining culminated in the presented specimen..
