Directly
from the EDL/CzN basement came this torso of a LAR V
oxygen rebreather. Many parts were missing, but DSV,
counter-lungs and scrubber were in the box. That was
enough for Golem Rebreaters crack staff to start assembling
a working modifications of the famous rebreather. |
| The most critical missing
piece was entire oxygen supply piping. In cooperation
with local hose shop, adapters were manufactured to attach
a standard 13cu.ft. O2 bottle with DIN first stage to
LAR V second stage. The remainder of essential parts
was acquired from Amron
International. You could buy entire breather from
them if you do not mind paying military prices. |

Here is a completed
O2 supply modification. A standard LP regulator hose
is attached through hose-shop made adapter to the LAR
V second stage regulator. The rest is off-the shelf O2
bottle and SPG. Another defunct rebreather saved. |
| Here is a EDL/CzN operative
during annual excersise penetratrion of US teritorial
waters near Venice Beach, FL. Number of Megalodon teeth
were also retrieved during the mission. |
